Thinking of joining UK Online, but would like some more information before you take that final step?
What do I need in order to join UK Online broadband?
- BT phone line
- Compatible modem or router - you can choose to buy these from UK Online during the
Sign Up process Mac or PC - Credit or Debit card
Is there a contract period?
The minimum contract period is 12 months.
How long does it take before it's up and running?
We aim to have new broadband customers up and running in 15 working days.
Will an engineer have to call and set it up?
Nope. BT will do some work on your local exchange, but no-one will visit your home.
Once the service has been activated, just follow a few simple instructions to get connected.
Why have I been offered broadband at a higher price than I expected?
UK Online is able to offer the lowest prices and fastest speeds, to customers who are on our own broadband network - which reaches more than 4.4 million homes across the UK. If you are not in an
area with UK Online equipment in the exchange, we will offer you Broadband services using BT's equipment instead, at a slightly higher price.
