What do I need in order to join UK Online broadband?

  • BT phone line
  • Compatible modem or router - you can choose to buy one from UK Online
  • A compatible Apple Mac or PC
  • Bank Account details or a Debit/Credit card

Is there a contract period?

The minimum contract period is 12 months.

How long does it take before my Broadband is up and running?

We aim to have new broadband customers up and running in 10 working days. If for some reason we are unable to do this we will of course contact you.

Will an engineer have to call and set it up?

No. BT will do some work on your local exchange, but no-one will visit your home.

Once the service has been activated, just follow a few simple instructions within your welcome pack to get connected.
