Getting Connected

After sign up / What happens next?
Once you have signed up, we will aim to have you up and running within 10-15 working days. You can check the status of your UK Online account online in the ‘Customer Centre’ section of the website by logging in using the username and password that will be generated for you during the sign up of your new account.
- Once we have received your application for UK Online Broadband we will send you an email, including all your new UK Online account details. Please keep this safe.
- We will then send you another email once we have confirmation of the date your account is expected to go live.
- If you have ordered a Broadband Router from us, we will let you know when this has been dispatched and when it’s likely to be delivered to your nominated address via email.
Installing your Broadband equipment
If you've ordered your broadband equipment from UK Online, it will come with full instructions on how to install and set up your new hardware. If you have not, we will provide a welcome pack giving you details on how to reconfigure your current router for UK Online Broadband.
Once broadband has been activated and you have received your email from us, please follow the instructions in your Welcome Pack to set your connection up.
In the unlikely event of any problems, our technical support advisors have also been fully trained in the installation of our Netgear Wireless Router, so if you do need some extra help, they will be able to help you out.
